Anyone else have these colors on their old Emmons fretboards? Notice the white markers instead of the usual blue ones. Just wondering how common these were back in the push/pull days.

Jay, my '67, ser#1139-D has the white ones as well. Is that unusual?

Jay, my 12/64 wraparound has the old turquoise colored markers that are faded to almost white. So that's what could have happened to your guitar.

EDIT: I now see that there were some that had white instead of turquoise symbols. I also had an early 70's D-10 that had ALL the atomic symbols in white.

Jay,
My 66 Bolt-on D-10 # 1026 has Beige (Tan)marker on the 5th fret,and so on.
They do not look like they're faded, they have the same luster as the rest of them.

I have asked about this three times 0n the Forum and this is the first time I've seen anything about them.
I was also wondering if maybe they were special order or, What ?

Maybe someone can tell us when these came about,,,these are the originals that came on my guitar.

Glad you mentioned them.

Kenny

A few years ago Mike Cass told me they had some slight variations way back. All I'd ever seen were blue (or turquiose). I wasn't sure how many white marker ones were out there.

I thought the student models all had just the black and white fretboards.
