I need to do some upholstery work on my seat and am curious about what to use for the cushion material. My once fluffy cushion has gone flat and my legs are now at the bottom of my levers. Thanks

For sure you want a high density foam. I recently had a couch reupholstered and the foam used is seriously firm. Feels great. Check with a fabric store and seek out the firm stuff.

You will need the grey or blue high density foam for long sitting comfort.
Check medical equipment rental facility, Some sell replacement wheel chair cushions with long endurance foam and fabric for long sitting comfort. They even have Jell cushions if the 18X18 inch size will fit your seat.

Send the seat top back to Dan and have him re-do it. It’s reasonable, quick and professional.

My 1st seat was a Sho~Bud.
I sat kind of low on it so I took it to an upholstery
shop and had extra foam added to it and also recovered it in a fabric.
It originally came with a vinyl cover and I really didn't care much for that. Very Happy

Erv I agree on cover. No plastic for me, I sweat to much.
Either double washed and dried black canvas or black denim is my choice for the cover.

Does memory foam help you remember what you practised?

Erv I’d like to try one with the high density foam topped with a couple inches of memory foam

Erv,
I believe Jimmy Hudson is building one with memory foam in the cushion.
