I’m curious what year my MSA was made. How do I figure it out?
The serial number is 1C 5401. Does that help? |

Kyle Bennett told me my MSA D10 Classic, 2C5069, was made March 1, 1976.

They must have been cranking them out that year. Mine is 1C3726 born 11/5/74 : 805 units later (if they are sequential).
I'm going to list mine for sale soon here by-the-way. Built by Bud Carter, shipped to Chicago Musical Instruments on 11/5/74. I have to get some photos taken.

Definitely... averaging 500-1000 per year over 10 years. I doubt you'll ever see any company do that again. 
(Kinda like what Henry Ford did with the Model T.) |
