Here is a gorgeous lap steel built by Jason DuMont in excellent condition. Inspired by lap steels of 40's, the Rodeo has classic styling and modern features. 25 in scale length, mahogany body, custom wound Lollar humbuckers, ebony fretboard, Schaller tuners.
I bought this guitar from a forum member 2 years ago, but have only played 3 times--I am dobro player and just not a steeler--although it is the coolest sounding I've ever played.
Comes with a Martin backpacker gig bag that fits very nicely.If you google Lap King, you can see vidos of Jerry Douglas and Cindy Cashdollar playing these, as well as a description of the windings and polarities of the pups.
