Hi Doug, I enjoyed your clip. You are one of the most UNDERRATED steel/lead guitar/instructor/author/innovator in our area. Looking forward to playing with you May 19th in Uxbridge, MA. I think you`re with Rachel that day. |

I was practicing some scale patterns today using my DD-6 and I made a quick iPhone video. Then I started tinkering with the settings in iMovie and came up with this fun little clip. Dang, I wish I Could play this fast! |
IMHO, you could. But you'll never be able to as long as you do it that way. |

Thanks, most of the riff I'm playing is the Myrick-Rugg "2-string, 1-pedal" speed pattern. There was tab and audio for that back in the early 80s. There has been some discussion about that pattern here on the forum in the past.
This thread has tab for the pattern I played in my video of Powerglide ---> https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=302710
As far as my delay setting, the DD-6 has a tap function, so I just stomp on it three times to set the delay time I want. |
Thanks Doug! Your such an excellent player!! I really like MoonTide , wow , as well as your blog! |

Seen Bobbie Seymor demonstrate that about 10 years ago. It was pretty amazing how you can make a delay do that. He was using a DD-3. |
