Just a little heads up - this March madness - oops - steel guitar jam - was just too good to be true. Bill McCumber was our featured guest, but we ended up calling it "the Bill McCumber show." Playing to a packed house, Bill fired up not only the band, but the audience. A special treat was a super back line of musicians, starting with Jim Clecker on the bass guitar, Virgil Hoye on drums, Wilton Deer on fiddle and myself Kenny Piper. Also, a special thanks to Ernie Reed from Nashville, playing fiddle, and treated South Texas to triple fiddle harmony. We would like to thank all who were present for your continued support of the San Antonio Steel Guitar Association! |
