according to his discography it was a player named Brad Felton... bob

Brad actually said he didn't play on Family Tradition, and he doesnt know who did. I'm pretty sure it was Dickey Overby he played on a few Hank Jr songs.

I read a piece on Don Helms recently that claimed it was Don on Family Tradition. I believe it.

I believe Dicky Overby played on "Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound" so there's a good chance he played on "Family Tradition" as well.
