Does anyone know what kind of guitar(I assume a ZB) and what kind of amp Rusty Young was using on the cut Prodigal? Sounds like a tube amp.

He used his D10 ZB Custom, and a Twin Reverb with JBL's.

Donnie
The ZB had a triple coil pickup, wonder which position he used, Tom Brumley usually used the middle position.
Thanks
Billy

Bob, I played Red's guitar a little back when I used to hang around his shop on Cahuenga. Well... I tried to play it, since his tunings were different. It was a sunburst finish, with the black pedals, and he had four more of those black pedals rigged up as knee levers. It was kinda funky, but that was Red...
One other thing he did back then was a custom pickup that sent every other string to a different amp. Odd number strings to one, and even numbered to the other.
Wild sound...
BTW, he had 2 of those 800's. One was in an Eb6 tuning, and the other was a diatonic tuning...E, if I remember right.
