I want to assign pedal four to raise both my E strings (2 & 6) a half-step on my LeGrande.

I have plenty of free space at the changer. Has anyone any suggestions about which changer-holes I should use for this change? Where on the bell-crank should I attach the rods - near the shaft or farther away?

It's a real bear (for me) getting those C-clips installed so I'd be happier if I only had to do it once!

roger, i believe if you are doing a half step you would use the middle hole in the changer and the 2nd hole in the bellcrank. also, i found the clips (they are 1/4 inch for a pp) at harbor freight. they are different from the original clips use can use needle nose pliers to install them....thanks jack

Thanks, Jack.

I have loads of spare clips from the factory - the challenging part is getting them off and back on again!

I appreciate your response.

I USE PUSH NUTS.OR THE SMALL SPRINGS THAT GO ON THE PULL ROD,ON MY LEGRAND ,A LOT EASIER THAN C CLIPS.

That's very good of you, Jack. I'll see how I get on first.
