I’ve removed a bolt on changer and want to give it a good clean. The fingers are spinning fairly free on the axle, but I’m trying to remove the axle from the pillow blocks. But they don’t seem to want to move. Am I missing something here? Do I need to just pull the block apart? Is there a trick or do I need to flush and lubricate them to get the pillow blocks apart. Don’t want to force anything.
Thanks in advance.

You might apply a little heat with a heat gun. The aluminum blocks should expand quicker than the axle. I’m talking about a heat gun that you use to remove paint, decals, stickers etc. Not anything drastic |

You can knock it out with a punch and hammer.
