I've seen stills but never footage from this show. There's no audio but without sound, you can really focus on the visual and examine Byrd's immaculate technique. _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Website: www.volkmediabooks.com |

You are right about this Andy and I would never have thought to look at a great players hands without the audio. I can almost hear the perfect intonation and phrasing. Its as if you can watch the technique without being distracted by the beautiful sound! |

Yes. I notice there is no wasted movement. Jerry moved each digit just enough to accomplish the micro partialized task at hand (no pun intended). _________________ Steel Guitar Books! Website: www.volkmediabooks.com |

He was at his peak here. Hi-Fi Guitars, with all those great Hawaiian albums to come--Byrd of Paradise, etc. And that is THE 7 string bakelite that made history. |

And just seven years later, Rickenbacker was best known for the six and twelve string guitars the Beatles played.... |
