Hi all, does anyone know someone who bought a pedal steel at an estate sale in Irving the weekend of November 17 2017? If so, I think I may have their case, and they may have mine!

The weekend of November 17 2017 there was an estate sale in Irving with two pedal steel guitars. One was an MSA "The Universal", and I can't remember what the other one was. I wasn't able to go because of work, but a friend went for me and managed to get the MSA. I told her to not bother breaking it down and to instead just set it in her SUV with the case separately.

Cut to today, I tried putting it in the case for the first time, and it doesn't fit (I thought that case seemed a little compact)!

If someone has my case, I'd love to trade them; I'm also wondering if that MSA case maybe had some missing parts for my MSA in it, but that'd just be a bonus.

Thanks!
Matt

Really looooong shot, but if the other person paid with a check, the seller could get the picture of it from their bank statement.. long time ago, though.. year and a half.
Good luck!

Try putting an ad with a descriptive title on the Dallas Craigslist.
And maybe surrounding areas as well.

Musicians like to cruise the ads even if they aren't really looking for anything.

Finally got around to posting on Craigslist. I went ahead and tried both Musical Instruments and Musicians community. I also thought about posting in Missed Connections but figured that might be a little over the top. "You were a 50 lb pedal steel guitar case. I was a soon-to-be proud owner of an MSA. We haven't met, but I hope to soon..."

Feel free to share these if you might know a guy who might know a guy.
