I just got a call from Bill Rudolph today, and he's finished with my William's steel. I'll post some pictures of it when it arrives. I told him to take a stab at a dark orange finish over birdseye maple on one of his crossover models.
Now I've got to sell my current steel (student GFI).
This Williams is way more steel than I am steel player, but here's how I justify it to the wife: "This is in lieu of me playing golf -- and you KNOW how expensive golf can be."
Can't wait to get that new 'tar!

You will like this new guitar. I went from a carter starter to a MSA Classic.
You will have a so much better guitar that you will try harder to get the good sounds.
Congrats.

Jeff,
I don't think that I have seen or heard a bad Williams steel yet ....I'm sure you will love it when you get it .....Don't let the wife see the bill, or you might find out how she uses a 9 iron !!!..... .........Jim |

Jeff, congrats.
But say, how much would you be selling your GFI student for? (Can't afford a Williams yet.) |

Another way to justify it is simply explain that you are in an adoption program. It is critical that we adopt these guitars and give them fine homes. Enjoy the new guitar! |
