I have a 15 year old Zum D-10 that has 27" legs and rods which is 1 inch longer than standard. It's a little bit too tall for me and I'm looking for someone who wants to trade their 26" set of 4 legs and 8 rods for a 27" set. Everything is in good shape, just 1" too long.

Hi Scott. I ran into the same issue with my 1995 Zum. This is what I did. It did the trick for me.

Thanks Ron,

That's a great idea! Kind of a MacGyver thing, or if you had used bamboo it could have been the professor on Gilligan's Island! It's so much better than 4 phone books.

The legs are but I don't know about the rods.

I ask because my Fessenden legs are too high for me. I read the subject line more carefully than the original post – Sorry.
