If that had been "aged" or "distressed" or "relic'd" for you by the expert de-restorers at Gibson or Fender, it'd cost at least 1000 smackers more.

Now that would be a candidate for a Marrs rebuild if ever I saw one --- looks like it has seen time as a boat anchor !

Looks like someone used a paint-scraper on it. Sad, but bet it could be redone to look great.

It's a Pro III. Give it to John Coop or Duane Mars. With a refinish and polish and a new undercarriage it will have all of us drooling.

well it says it plays in tune and has a great sound so it must be a thousand-no a million times better than the piece of junk pro III i had. mine had a beautiful black finish but the tone was so muddy that even with a 10 band equalizer it still sounded like crap. and even though the changer was smooth as a baby's behind i couldn't keep g#s on it. shesss! was it a reincarnated 50's 1000? sho-bud must have had the quality control of ford in "72. shame!

Actually, that is what most of the guitars look like before we are finished. That would be an excellent candidate for an EXTREME MAKEOVER. Please see www.duanemarrs.com. A.J. Nelson could bring the cabinet back to life for sure.
Thanks for the new Nashville Skyline Seymour shirt Bobbe, your pal, Jeffrey

Somebody had a wedding and after the reception was over, they couldn't find any old tin cans to string behind the car so they just used that old Sho-Bud.

Jeff Suratt, you are welcome, the T-shirt has the New Orleans skyline on the back, at night.
