I purchased this new from Jimmy in 2015. He set it up with a G tuning and after playing it for a year or so I sent it back to him to change it to a standard pedal steel E tuning. He upgraded all of the mechanics at that time. It has two pedals and three knee levers. I currently have it tuned down to a D tuning but it sounds great with either. I also Put in a MacIntire pickup. I also installed a Beard come. Finally, I cut a piece of aluminum to cover the entire sound chamber. This made it slightly louder and gave it better sustain. I also bought a keyboard soft gig-bag for moving it. You do need to take off the bottom plate to undo the legs, but I still have the original plate which I’ll include that allows you to remove the legs more easily. $1050.00 plus shipping.

Tom just a suggestion: you might want to crank the reverb down a bit on the plugged in sample. It sounds kind of distorted.

Tom, I am interested in this Hudson Pedal Console Reso. Before I can get any more interested, I would like to see some more photos and get some more information. I am sending you a PM with details on my specific requests. This looks like a nicely made and really fun instrument. I am looking forward to learning more.

Thanks. Cool

I’ve been asked for more pictures and details. This is a Pull and release system. The scale length is 24”. There are rollers on the bridge. I removed the cover plate I made and reinstalled Jimmy’s original. I did that for shipping purposes and will send mine. Notice the holes on the bottom next to the stickers. They were from his original pedal configuration for a G tuning. I couldn’t get used to that and returned it to set up an E tuning. The holes are left from what he removed.

Hi. I sold the resonator off the forum. Please close. I didn’t save any audio clips.
