I need to replace some chewed up tuner nuts on my mid 90's Carter. Are there different sizes of these things? If so how do I tell what size I have? Last, where can I get some? Thanks to all

Call Spirit Steel Guitar in Broken Arrow Ok. Talk to Richard. The number I had was 918-258-7830. He has the George L's in all sizes.

Available on the George L web site: http://www.georgelsstore.com/steelacc.html

I believe use the 3/64 size, the 1/8 are for older MSA types. $10.00 for 10

Karl - You might want to try turning the tuners around. Sometimes when they get a bit worn on one end, you can simply unscrew the tuner, turn it around, and screw it back on.

Why not go directly to Carter for the parts. That will make sure you get the correct size.
