I have a supply of new 7/8" x 3 1/4" John Pearse bars. You will not find a harder smoother stainless steel bar than these heat tempered then cryogenically frozen bars. Great tone!! Great price, so please email me at rollermusic@cox.net for pricing. PayPal accepted.
Thanks,
Jerry

Jerry, Do they come still frozen? How long does it take to thaw them out? |

Jim, it depends on several factors. In the hands of Tommy White it would not take very long! I carry a hair dryer when breaking in a new frozen bar.

As long as your microwave can stand it, probably 1.45 seconds
Seriously, if you read up on cryogenics you will see that it definetly hardens metal. I have used my Pearse bar many years and there is no sign of wear or dents in it. I compare tone to my Emmons bar and I can hear a difference. Better tone with the Pearse. If I don’t believe in and use a product I don’t promote it.

I too use one of these bars, the 1" dia., and am very well pleased with the feel and smoothness of the product. I especially like the slightly indented heel of the bar for bar slants. Regardless of the "jokes" it is a fine product and a "super person" making them available. |
