Wow, could it be? A light amp that can handle a steel guitar? Will it stay clean at high volumes?

A few questions:
1.)Does this amp use a class D power module?
2.)Where is the DI output connector located?
3.)Could a 12 inch 4 ohms speaker be installed instead of the 8 ohm speaker so it's a 100 watt amp.
4.)What would be the price difference with a 4 ohm speaker?

Henry:
1 - yes, like the Half and Half its got class D power
2 - the DI is on the rear panel (you can see where the speaker plugs in - its next to that with a push button ground lift switch)
3 - yes, you can get 100W into 4ohms
4 - I am not sure. It depends on what speaker.

How is The Amp so light? What about the transformer? Do you have a blog where you outline how this is possible?

there is no transformer 
we ended up with such a light amplifier because we specifically chose materials that would sound good and cut the weight at the same time. Pine, Aluminum, and a Neo magnet speaker that is matched to the output of the amplifier (not a 500W speaker that weighs a ton and happens to have a neo magnet)
I think the steel players will be blown away by the result - these are going to hit my dealers and website in April. Just a few weeks from now

It would be nice if you published the speaker sensitivity rating along with the power wattage output. 50 watts into 8Ω means NOTHING without that information.
