Song I “Teardrops over you†by Rhonda Vincent and the lick is right at 2:40, I can tell it’s something with the first string raise but can’t quite finger the “falling part†maybe someone can give me some advice ? Thanks

Up at 13 was where I found those 'odd' notes to add from 2&1 before sliding down to 12.
So I think it's something like that. Except it doesn't sound quite right on my guitar at the end, since the lever I have that raises 1&2 also lowers 6. |

Mike is playing a push pull so with th A and B pedals engaged the 6th string don’t drop when he raises the first string because the raise overrides the lower. Randy is right on but obviously his is not a push pull.

You're right Jerry, mine is all-pull, so the 6 lower splits with the B pedal.
And if the recent discussions about Mike's setup have been correct, he raises 7 instead of lowering 6 on that 1&2 lever anyway. He has a string 6 lower on his 'Franklin' (and Paul cringes...!) pedal 4. |

Randy’s tab is correct, note-wise, but try this:
Grab the 4th string, lowered, instead of the second string. You have to have your 1,2,7 raise and 4,8 lower on different knees to accomplish this (LKR and RKL, respectively). If you lower string 6 on this lever, you’ll have to mute it.
Mike normally records with a Franklin, so the push/pull mechanics are not a factor.
The advantage is that you get your 3rd (D#) and your 6 (G#) separately, contributing to the 13th chord piece we hear on the record. If the second string were used, the 3 (D#) would change to a 4 (E) when LKR (1,2,7 raise) is engaged.
If the 13th chord is not desired, Randy’s transcription is an awesome move to lead back into the 1 chord (E), as Jerry stated. Just let all strings ring (6,5,2,1), then release AB pedals and hit the 1,2,7 raise. 5 to 1!
