I put a BL XR-16 in my Mullen SD12, and want to put a switch in to switch from humbucker to single coil. I can't find the wiring diagram I had to do this. The pickup has a black, white, and red wire (which I believe is the split wire).

Can someone help?

Thanks

Just temporarily connect the red to ground, Richard.
Then touching the polepieces with some magnetic metal item will tell you which coil is still active; you will hear the click through your amp. You may be able to turn the pickup around to get the active coil either closer or further from the changer fingers, whichever sound you prefer. If this works out, then a simple SPST mini toggle switch that connects/disconnects the red wire to ground will get 'er done.

Good luck and happy picking.

Thanks Chris. I'll give that a shot.
