Sorry to hear that Joe O has passed.
He was the bass player on so many hit records in the '60's right up thru the '90's, both in LA and Nashville.
A founding member of The Wrecking Crew.
I was extremely fortunate to have been able to play with him a few times on some Johnny Rivers gigs.

Another great one gone ...I have admired his playing for yrs ,,, Simon & Garfunkel, Mamas & Papas, Ricky Nelson, Neil Diamond , Ricky Scaggs and lots more ...That great thud sound with a pick While talking to James Burton, we discussed mainly two people , Elvis and Joe,,,RIP Joe |
