Hi Gang
I am looking to buy a D-10 or S-10 that requires some TLC for a project this winter. Preferably Sho-Bud ( I'm still kicking my butt for selling my Pro III ), Emmons or MSA. Sorry no universals or extended E-9th. If you have something I may be interested in, my budget is $800 - $1000.
Cheers
Karl....with a K |

Good evening,
I have a Pro ll Sho Bud guitar I bought down in Austin for a project guitar. A project I never got around to doing. It is kind of a special guitar. The serial number is 4395 and its has 8 pedals and four knee levers.
The special part is that Bob Lucier worked on this guitar and transformed it from a wrack a barrel to a 3/2 changer with nylon tuners, rods, and cams.
The research I did on Bob Lucier shows that he had a professional career as a steel player on Canadian TV and then opened his own shop where he specialized in converting Sho bud guitars. If you search him here on the forum you will find some info. If you search the web you can find his latest album and some info.
Both necks are in tact and complete in fact this is a fully working D-10 guitar.
If you are interested I can take and send you a detailed photo shoot of this guitar over the weekend.
I bought the guitar for $1000.00 and that is what I would be asking + shipping. The case is in very rough shape, but worthy of protecting the guitar for shipping. I pack steels very securely.
Let me know.
All the best, Paul |
