Does anyone know of someone named Lynn who sold pedal steels from his home in Roswell, NM around 1973?

Dunno, but there is something about a steel that suggests space wreckage.

When I worked at Sierra back in the late seventies there was a guy that bought some guitars for resale that lived in Roswell, his name was Lynn Woolrich as I recall. Hope this helps.

Never saw any UFOs, but I did see about 4 or 5 beautiful D10s in this fellow's front room. I was a newbie with an MSA S10 4+2 Semi-Classic that I'd bought in Kaysville, Utah. Still didn't have an amp... just the MSA and a bar. I discovered this guy somehow (the Internet wasn't even steam-powered yet) and he said to come on over. He was very kind to show me a few things that got me going. I think his business was called "Lynn's String Shop".

I remember seeing a picture of him at his house with a Sierra that we built for him and he looked at that time to be in his fifties or early sixties to me. My guess is he's probably gone. I think he dressed up the Sierra's with pinstriping and eagle decals or something like that. It's been a long time ago.

I bought a GFI Ultra from Lynn around 2008 he was living in Hope N.M. A pretty cool guy he played beautiful classical six string guitar and then sat down and knocked out Stevie Ray Vaughn licks on the steel. He also was the co inventor of the Bridge Doctor and worked for Mosrite guitars I don't know if hes still around there or not kinda hope so

Harley and Will, thanks so much for your replies. Yeh, he was great. Should have tried to contact him years ago. A lesson to be learned....

Fellow's name was Lynn Woolbridge, and his business was called Lynn's String Shop. He specialized in Rusler guitars at the time I bought a Sho~Bud from him in 1975.
