I have a 101R (Reverb) amp that I've used at home for a practice amp and with a Telecaster for tracking in my home studio.

Today, I decided to take it out and use it at Cowboy Church. I was curious on how it would do as its "only" 50 watts. As it turned out it more than exceeded my expectations. I had the input gain at 5 and the Master gain about half way between the 10 and 50W markings (approximately 30 watts). I used an Eminence TT12 speaker. I use a PODX3 (for effects only) that is between the volume pedal and amp in and had the gain on that about 60%. I never had the volume pedal at full volume. Tone isn't as good as my Steelaire Rack amp but very acceptable.

My 2 cents

Interesting Jack. Quilter gets a lot of power out of these small amps. My micropro mach 2 covered a large club with its single 12 Celestion and my Telecaster. I had a Peavey special 130 I used 1st set and switched to the Quilter for the rest. Powerful and clean but can get crunch if you want it. I was impressed.

I just picked up a Quilter Interblock 45 2 weeks ago for _hits and giggles...put together a cabinet with a 12" Cannabus Rex speaker and it sounds pretty bodacious..was interested in it because of size and of all the good things I have heard about the Quilter amps..another good draw for me was to see how well it took pedals because that model also has FX loop on it..In short it makes a pretty good setup..super great for studio..enough power for medium gig..doesn't have the built in reverb, but takes the pedals great
