Hello.
I'm wanting to get some info on this Dobro. Would anyone know what it's worth or maybe the year?
It still plays good and the electronics part still works perfect. Any info would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks...

I have serious doubts as to that being a legitimate "Dobro".

It is legit. From the short lived Mosrite era. Mid -Late 1960's. I think the period was officially 66-69 but might be off by a year or 2 in either direction.
If you search you'll probably find an image of the catalog online. Considered the "dark" period of the Dobro.
Google "Mosrite dobro image".

I will have to go along with Mr. Parker. I am sure it is from the Mosrite years. |

There has been quite a bit written on these guitars, none of it particularly positive. I don't remember the details, but if I remember right, it was a licencing deal gone bad.
As far as value, they aren't highly valued. |

It's a model C-65E "Plainsman". They're very respectable instruments, in my opinion nicer than Mosrite's regular electric guitars. The name was lost around 1968 in one of Mosrite's myriad bankruptcies, which is how OMI was able to buy it back.
Lately I've seen asking prices on these skyrocket, but I have not seen any indication that people are actually buying them for high prices. The tuners on this guitar are replacements. |

Thanks for all the info.
A local guy inherited the guitar and was seeking information on it. |
