I am using the Peterson app with the sweetened E9 to tune my steel and really like it . Trouble is I do a few songs on a baritone 6string and the app does not work for it .
I don’t know if I can switch between tunings on the app . Does anyone use a stomp box tuner on E9? |

I believe Peterson has a stompbox tuner with sweeteners. There are also user programmable programs. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . I use their StroboStomp Classic everywhere... I think I own 5 of them? I also use the App as a nice backup. Peterson is the best for me.

Why would you expect it to? The scale lengths are different, as are the string gauges, tunings, and playing methods. All of these factors must be taken into account in order to have the tuning properly tempered so it will sound its best.
Put simply, different instruments require different tempers, or offsets. |

True. The Peterson tuner will tune bass guitars, so a Baritone guitar should be no problem. Get the guitar in tune by ear and notice how many cents they are sharp or flat they are, and enter in your offsets in one of user programmable selections. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) .
