I am looking for some pickup that will fit in the MCI Waco Model. But i dont want Barcus Barry pickup,That was in it originaly.I think it is a wide mount pickup.I would like to have some pickups that have a beefy sound and not a lot of highs.
Thank's
Dan

Dan, I replaced the Barcus Berry pickups in my MCI Rangexpander with a George L 10-1 on the E9th neck and a George L E-66 on the C6th neck, and it sounds fabulous, better, fatter and cleaner sound all round for my ears.

Check with Jerry Wallace at TrueTone Pickups.Tell him you want pickups that mimic the old BL705/805 pickups. Something around 17.5k to 18k ohm will make these guitars honk big time

Daniel is right on...BL/705 or Jerrys True Tone.
