A while back I built a 10 string aluminum lap steel for someone.
Details:
10 string "Tubular-10-Bender" Lap Steel Guitar
Keyless design.
1x6x36" (maybe shorter?), polished top and sides, matte sanded bottom
Aluminum fingerboard, matte finish, anodized.
24" scale
Two bender levers, placable on any of the 10 strings.
Custom 10 string pickup, hand scatter wound (by me). Padauk Wood for pickup
A6 tuning: (HtoL) E-C#-A-F#-E-C#-A-F#-D-A.
Changer fingers on rear for levers, straight pull tuners at head.
benders: STRING #2 (+1/2 step from C# to D) and STRING #4 (+1 full step from F# to G#).
