This devise has the battery on off switch but does anyone know if say one forgot to switch it off or it gets switched on in the case, is the power still cut of with no cords plugged in?

On the up side, the batteries last a very long time in a matchbox.

I don't know about all of them, but the one I saw (was brought to me for repair) the power switch was in addition to the guitar cord plugged in for power. Thus in this case if there are no guitar cords plugged in, it wouldn't matter about the power on/off switch.

Off topic, after seeing that, I did the same thing to my Goodrich MatchBro (and several others), added a power on/off switch that is in series with the Input guitar plug power wire that originally powered on the unit.
