The exstuded pedal has extruded blocks that slide in pedal bar an separate the pedals at the right spacing. I think it sets the mark for manufacturing labor cost
I like BMI rack an pedal set up very heavy duty aluminum exstrusion pedals An rack.
There is something about the arch on the peda that really makes the pedals comfortable.

Mike that is a very good looking pedal bar An pedals Are you’re pedals extruded or milled?

GFI also really has a cool pedal bar. Wish the pedal steel manufacturers would incorporate all the good features of the top builders in one guitar . Jerry Fessenden
Has designed really good Bell cranks I think the crank fits 5/16 cross bar. |

I was going to take a picture of mine and post it. I agree with Mike. My Mullen has great pedals. I play it mostly barefoot, so I appreciate it!
I also really like the way the pedal bar attaches to the legs, using a friction fit instead of drilled holes, so you can adjust the height a little without going to extremes.

I love the pedals and pedal bar on my Carter. Easy to add pedals, pre-machined bar.
I also like the pedals and pedal bar on my Mullen SD12. But I wish the bar had holes pre-drilled to add pedals. They pre-machined the undercarriage, so it's hard for me to believe that they didn't think to pre-machine the pedal bar. That and the pickup cavity size (too small for an XR-16 pickup I want to install).

Johnie our pedals are Milled. We mill everything except the bar itself.
Richard. We do not pre drill the pedal bar due to the cosmetics. The under side of the guitar would be nearly impossible to drill so we go ahead and do that. When someone orders a pedal kit we supply a jig so they know where to drill for the pedal. Also the narrow mount was designed in many of the guitars out there before all these different pickups came out, that is why we went to the wide mount for the G2, I think it will fit anything out there. If you sent me your pickup and neck, I can probably make it work for you. |

I just recently disassembled all of my pedals for cleaning and polishing...1995 pre RP Mullen and they are awesome looking and awesome comfy!

Thanks Mike. The jig sent with a pedal solves the problem. I am close to getting the XR-16 to fit. Having to file down the baseplate to make it fit. I also had issues with putting 710's in my Carter. They were too long for the cutout. I love the sound of the Mullen pickup. I just had problems at places where hum was bad. But to be fair, the guitar and bass player had the same problem.
Well, enough of that. Back to our regularly scheduled program on pedals and pedal bars.

| My first guitar was a BMI s10 I couldn't play with a pair of boots that had a leather solids the pedals would wear 2 holes in the sold of my boot had to have new prime solids now that I play Mullen guitars I don't have that problem anymore the pedals are almost mashing a sponge |

I just retired a pair of boots that I had re-soled 3 times. The toe on my left boot was finally broken through to the inside of the boot. And I was playing a Carter with smooth pedals during that time.
