52 Fender Re-issue Lap Steel.
I think these were marketed around 2007, but not sure.
I'm looking to get $250.00 plus shipping? Any offers considered since I never use it.
I'll be back in the USA on the 7th of June and can ship CONUS then.
I'll post some photos soon, but for now this first old image from Musicians Friend web site.
The steel is in good condition as you can see in these photos taken today.
Very bright tone which I am not crazy about. I can get it to sound good to my ear by rolling off all the treble on the steel and amp and cranking up the bass and some mid range.
The original Fenders of this model had the strings through the magnet pickups which this does not. It is just made to look like that, but has what looks like a Strat pickup inside it....
The thing over the strings is a fake, but shiny! 
6 String lap steel right now tuned to C6th with the high E top string.
There are two small holes where some idiot had mounted a chrome Fender logo from an amp that was too large and stuck up above the top edge so I took it off and lost it.
Other than that the steel is in excellent condition with decent hard case. Made in China like all the best Fenders!   
I'd keep it but prefer to play my 8 string guitars. A good starter steel for a beginner or anyone because it won't break the bank.
As you can see here the case is decent, not great, but decent and latches all work...

Forgot to mention that I will be at the Dallas Steel Show in March.
Could bring the guitar with me then if there is a buyer who will also be there?
