Not necessarily, you can use the tip of the round bar to fudge those split string 2 or 3 fret slants a bit.
Those 9th chord voicings in measure 8 are pretty typical in A6, for example. |

Totally agree Todd, you can hear the 5th string D# (strum). very easy option for a song like that.

| It could be B1, Todd.. I initially thought it might have been a two neck effort with Fsharp9 or E13 but either way I wasn't going for a transcription here. This is my arrangement in memory of Mr Remington, using a tuning which he was known for. It is written for me to play on my glorious Clinesmith Koa 8 string Reso. I hope you enjoy it. |

I enjoy everything you do Guy. Just wanted to add to the conversation and legacy of Herb Remington. He has been one of my favorites for many years and many to come. I have worked on his arrangement of Jersey Bounce a few times in the past several years, but never to the detailed level of your transcriptions.

Compared to original recording you may well be right - I was only referring to the A6 arrangement.
As we know, it's pretty easy to tune to B11 from A6. |
