This Dobro is an original OMI instrument.
It is listed as model #63 in their catalog and I bought it new in 1975 and it has received very limited use.
It has a factory installed Barcus Berry pickup.
The scale length is 24 1/2".
The body construction is maple hardwoods; top, bottom and sides.
It is in excellent shape!

It would be wider than on a Stringmaster.

It would either be C6th or possibly a variation of an E tuning, like C#m7.

Bro Irv, that is a fine looking instrument for some 43 years old  Looks like that would be a pretty good neighborhood you were talking about - hope it sells fast for you.

8 string Dobros are hard to find.
