| I have a MSA Double 10 (8&4) I was wondering if anyone out there would know by the Serial # what year it was made? The only number I can find on it is: 2C5012 I really appreacite your help. Thanks, Bill |

Bill B....Thank you for playing an MSA, and thank you Don for being "one of us" and welcoming Bill into our ever growing family.
Records indicate serial number 2C-5012 to be a rosewood double 10 SS which left the factory with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers.
Its orginal destination was our distributor, who at the time was located in Chicago. They then sold it to a dealer, which is where the trail ends relative to MSA tracking.
The specific day it was made was not entered into record, however your guitar turned 30 just last month. It was manufactured in October of 1975.

| Hello Bill, I have a question for you what type of pickups are on it? do you have the polished pedal bar and knee levers also the pedals are polished? if it has P&B custom II pickups on it I use to own it, but if you have the original MSA pickups then I did not use to own it either way welcome to owning a piece of history. steveb. |

Steven,
I don't think my MSA is the one that you owned. My pedal bar, pedals, and knee levers aren't polished.It has humbucking pick ups on it. It's a great steel guitar.

| Bill, I have a sister (or brother) to your guitar that is in mint condition, original case, and instruction book. The serial number on my guitar is 2C4055 and was shipped to a distributor in Chicago. You can't go wrong with a MSA |

I sold my 1983 MSA Sunburst U12, 8/5",Triple Raise and Lower, a great Supersustain II pickup, "Universal" about a year or so ago.
My Michigan friend decided he didn't need two guitars anymore,so I had a chance to buy it back and it is now back in my home again.....al
