Andy, you didn't even list your Fender on your list of instruments! I guess it must be pretty bad for you not to include it! Rolling Eyes

Hi Bill,
Yes that Fender is Junky for sure...
Tone was painfully brilliant with no middle or bottom.
Looked like they stuck a poor quality Stratocaster PU inside the fake magnet surrounding pickup cover. The cover not being a real PU just got in the way with no benefit at all.
Thought of selling it but not sure how to even list it? Shocked
Andy

Have a SX 6 and 8 and a Recording King. They are OK for beginners. They sound ok to good. You can order online but I would recommend to buy used if you're concerned about resell value. I'm looking for a used sx 8 now.

The SX 8 is by far the best of my 3. If you need 6 strings, take 2 off. Still plays fine and you won't notice and if you want more strings later you're all set.

I notice you're in Tennessee. If you're near Nashville check Craigslist. Awhile back there was all kinds of nice vintage laps on there which would make sense with all the musicians. (I lived there for years)

Where I am in Florida it's slim pickins locally.
