Could anyone give me the size of the MSA cross shaft bush size please...

The bushings are one half inch OD and three eighths ID, hope this helps, if you cant find them let me know.

I second this recommendation. I'm working on an old MSA myself, and if Michael's got it, he's a great source for parts.

But Jimmy is in youkavia. Locally available parts might be noticeably cheaper, if he can find them.

If you have one good one, and there's a Cromwell near you, I'd walk in there, find an old guy with decades of grease embedded in the calluses on his hands, and tell him: "I need one (or four) of these, please."

(Cromwell is the British equivalent/affiliate of W. W. Grainger, which is where I went to find them for my Sho-Bud).
