After playing E9 for several years, I'm ready to start exploring C6. I have a Pederson Strobo Plus HD tuner. It looks like the only tuning option I see for C6 is "JC6". Is this the correct sweetened tuning to use for all C6 strings as well as pedals? I know for E9 there are separate settings for pedals/levers.
Thanks,

The JC6 is just for the opens. There is another SP6 for the pedals.
If your e-mail is registered with Peterson, I can share my programs that have practically everything in one E9th and one C6th program. There is two on the E9th (4th string raise to F# and 4th string lower to D#) and the 3rd string C to B lower on the C6th that have to be in a separate program as their tunings conflict with others. Not a big deal as these rarely need adjusting. The E9th program also includes changes, such as raising the 1st string to G#, raising second string to E, lowering the 5th and 6th strings that are not in the Newman programs.
E-mail or PM me if you want my programs. A lot of people already have. |

I can fully endorse Jack's E9 tuning. It's the best I've found and Jack is very kind to make it so freely available.
I doff my hat to him. _________________ Ben-Rom #017 'Lorelei', Guild D25, Epiphone 'Joe Pass', Roland 40XL, Hilton VP
