I made up a tab for this years ago, but in playing it today it doesnt sound very good to my ears. Does anyone have this tab for C6th pedal steel or know where to get one ?
I could probably post my version and ask for corrections/advise if that is better.
Thanks in advance.

I know Herby Wallace had a nice version in one of his courses. Not sure if or where they might be available these days. Maybe Pali?

Jim, yep I can hear in my head Herby playing it, but I cant find it in my collection and I thought I had everything he ever put out...I loved his tabs and his arrangements, straight forward and nice ! I think I will go back to the drawing board and try working it out on my own based on my knowledge these days...maybe I will come up with something I like better...one thing for sure..I will learn something along the way ! Thanks.

My scanner isn’t working but give me a minute and I’ll figure a way to get it to you all.

I've scanned my tab and it should be ready to send. If you want it and I don't already have your email address, send it to me as a Private Message.

I don't want anything for it but if you think it's worth it, maybe make a donation to the forum.

I'll include my copedent. I may have used some changes you might not have but you should be able to come up with appropriate alternatives.

Well, John, I didn't originally because I tabbed this just for myself so it's not especially pretty. But if you all don't mind my chicken scratching, here 'tis:

If you have, say, a pedal or knee lever (KL) that raises a string a whole step, and also have another that lowers the same string a 1/2 step, if you use them together, the final result will be a 1/2 step raise (i.e., you're "splitting" the difference). The same thing works in reverse, one change lowers a whole step while the other raises a 1/2 step so the final result is lowering by 1/2 step. Some guitars are set up to be able to tune this mid-point properly (called "tunable splits"). Make sense?
