A nice departure from the typical clone you see everyday , I would like to see some under pics , very eunique indeed.15 pounds is very lite , how thick is the body ? Im guessing you routed the body underneath , what kind of wood did you use ?That could even be a ten string I like it Bobby. All the hassel of cutting wood to glue up a typical cabinet and end plates is all eliminated with your design and the key head is cut right into the body all in one piece , very nice i can see this catching on Bob , being a solid wood piece does it sounds like the natural tone of a wood body ? With different pickup combo s that will sound great and different woods will give you different sounds ya know . Im impressed you had enough courage to do this .I might even give this a try .

Thank you for your interest, the body is 1&3/4 in deep all one piece. The bottom is flat with a cover made with plexiglass. The sound is great. The wood is red grandis grown in a plantation in Uruguay ,it is very much like mahogany. It has the same tonal quality as maple and mahogany. Yes I the body was routed out 1 inch deep. I could make a 10 string but would make body wider, and it would have two raises one lower. If I showed the bottom it would just show flat bottom with cover
