Very nice I love keyless but wait you got nice compact knobs no wrench needed on open tuning . I really like the pad design too just the right highth built in the guitar design. Underneath is neat as a pin.

The knobs fit an 11mm 12pt socket, and I drop one over them because my hands are pretty arthritic and it gives me a better grip.
I'm loving it. Very quiet, smooth pedals and levers. Low effort. And a sweet voice.

| I like the color. Is that called "Vintage Wood"? It seems like they offer another wood option but its somewhat brighter, more like maple. |

Hi Jeffery, beautiful guitar.
I’ve never had the pleasure of playing one of those keyless with the knobs.
I’m curious. Could you say what the cabinet drop is? How many cents do your E strings drop when you have your A/B pedals depressed?
If you have a Peterson HD, set it to the cents and roll the dial counterclockwise till you see the strobe stop. That will be the cabinet drop in cents.

Yes, that's the "Vintage Wood" color. I don't remember what the other woodgrain looked like - there were also red, blue, black.
I went to the factory to pick it out. No dealers around me that I know of.

About 8 cents on the high E, 9 cents on the low E.

Very pretty well built guitar.
The nice thing about a GFI is, The holes are already drilled and tapped for additions you desire. With the easy add and remove Cross rods it will be easy to add anything you want.
Easy to work on and adjust.
I have a Black GFI Ultra 12U. It is a joy to play and work on. Good Luck and Happy steeling. |

Just a little warning, Be careful with what you clamp on the legs of the guitar.
One leg on my GFI has loose chrome on the leg from the clamp on the tuner that was used by it previous owner. |

| Hey bobby, your GFI must be an early model. They haven't used chrome legs for the last 8 years that I know of. Their legs are polish aluminium. |

The guy's name is Bob Diekmeier. I asked him how he came to be running GFI and he said, "A long time ago I started dating the owner's daughter, and went to work for him."

That's my Carter D-10. It's a good guitar too, and I'm very happy with it, but in its case it weighs about as much as I do and we argue about which of us has to carry the other. Plus, I wanted a keyless GFI because my hands are so arthritic I can barely tune regular keys, and some other reasons.
