Just got off the phone with Bill but forgot to ask him this. He was so generous with his time I don't want to call him back and be a pest.
Will other brands of extensions work or do most people just fabricate something ? I could build it but I'd rather spend my time on grips and scales.
Thanks in advance

If it's the guitar I'm thinking of. It was offered to me by the previous owners widow with a 2 inch lift kit. If you don't need the lift kit? Just remove it. And the knee lever handles should be plenty long enough. Just my opinion of course. |

Bobby,
Probably is the same one. Williams 400 D10 burgundy/maroon from Scott in Asheville.
Ive wanted to drop it to my 5´9¨ build, but put it off.
Not that I´m lazy (okay, Iḿ lazy) Mostly itś that this thing is so much fun to play Iḿ avoiding the downtime.
Maybe on my first (long overdue) string change
Hunt and peck pedaling is hard on the wires.
Thanks for your input

If you're 5'9 ? Returning it to standard will feel real good to ya. I'm 5'9 and would rather wrestle a gator than play one 2 inches over. I sat in on one Tommy Todd's 2 inch over guitars once. Now that was pretty ugly.

Yea, I'm 5'8" and I cut mine an inch less than standard. When I try to play Tommy's guitar, I keep hitting my chin on the strings. _________________ Bill Cunningham
