I have two of these and this one is now surplus to requirements.

It needs some handiwork. The foam-lining has perished and needs replacement. At some point the end-handle broke and a friend replaced it with a home made but effective substitute.

The interior lid is, as you can see, still sound. It accommodates my Emmons D-10 (with legs and pedal-bar secured behind the inside lid) but can be made to fit whatever guitar you have when you reline the inside.

$100 - plus shipping. Paypal if you cover the fees.

Plenty of interest in this case but shipping costs have, so far, proved a disincentive.

It's a better deal if you're within a thousand miles of Naples, FL, of course.

It's a pity for it to go to waste! I don't have the manual skills to restore its interior (or the inclination, if I'm honest) but I'm sure most of you do.

How long is the case, most of those were for keyless.

I'm sure it would easily accommodate a keyless but this one has been used with my JCH SD-10 and a D-10 Carter that I once owned.

I believe that this item is now spoken for - I'm awaiting funds.

Roger,
A couple of questions-
What does the case weigh?
What did it weigh in at loaded with your Emmons?

The case alone is 16 or 17 lbs.

It's been a while since I flew with the Emmons and, in any case, I would always take it into the cabin with me. My Emmons is loaded (8+9) so is on the heavy side for a LeGrande; maybe 65 lbs all in?

For me, though, these cases are all about ease of handling rather than saving weight. The end-mounted handle and the wheels make it feel more like a carry-on bag. 65 lbs, though, is still a lot to do a straight lift with!

As I say, though, the case appears to be sold.

I still have one other (for the Emmons) and I'll keep that as long as I'm drawing breath. I decided to sell this one purely to save some space here at home. Remember, I still have to keep the original factory-standard cases for my guitars.
