I’d like to replace the original tuners on my 1928 square neck National. Are there any available that fit without and modification to the guitar? |

A decade or two ago I replaced the tuners on my '29 with replacements from National Resophonic in SLO. Although they did not exactly match the originals (they have metal buttons -- the originals were plastic), they dropped right in and they still work fine. |

Thank you gentlemen, I should be able to come up with a proper solution with this information. |

Let me know if you want an original set of tuners for your guitar? I might have a set as I have a large inventory of old Waverly, Grover & Kluson tuners that I've been selling to luthiers and musicians. If interested and you can send me a personal message that might be faster? |
