Here’s an old tune that deserves some love. It’s one of those I couldn’t get out of my head after listening to tunes from “The American Songbookâ€.

That was great as always Randy. Two things I noticed, the John Deere shirt and you raising your fingers at times behind the bar. Would you share why you raise your fingers off the strings? |

Thanks!
Lifting my fingers behind the bar is a habit I started many years ago. I can hear the overtones when I do it. Not sure if it comes through enough for anyone else to hear it but I can. Just gives the chords a fuller sound. This happens all over the neck. Not just at the 5th 7th or 12th fret. |

Randy, do you hear any difference with the old 705’s vs the newer ones? I would like to get humbuckers for my hybrid and I’m checking out the options. |

Thanks Randy for being so kind and answering my question. We wonder what is going on in the mind of a pro when he plays. |

That's a robust sound with lots of growl, especially in lower register. It isn't hard to listen to, I'll tell you that. |

Thanks for getting it out of your head and into our ears. Your tone is astounding and perfect for that tune. And yeah right, that E9 neck is just for Country. So much for that idea.... |
