Well, I can't contain my excitement any longer. A couple of weeks ago Paul Franklin offered to use one of my 10 string lap steels to do a teaching video lesson,,,(will probably be on the PFM course?). Needless to say, I couldn't feel more honored if I had been inducted into the Hall of Fame. And then to add to that, it turns out that it may,,,,emphasis on MAY,,get used on an upcoming George Strait session,,,do I feel blessed or what!!!! I can't start to express how grateful I am that this is happening!!!!
Speaking of the PFM (Paul Franklin Method),,,I think anyone,,,who has invested time and money into learning this instrument (which I guess would include most of the members of the Forum?), and has not taken advantage of the opportunity to participate in this program, is really limiting their potential. In my 40+ years of steel guitar I've delved into about every teaching method that's come along,,,this seems to be the culmination, and beyond. There is truly something for everyone. Let's face it, this instrument requires a mind set,,,and Paul is sharing his mind set,,,how he got to where he wanted to be. I would certainly encourage anyone who truly wants to learn the instrument,,,the ins and outs of music,,,to get in on this.
