I had posted pics of this guitar a couple of months ago but they were very blurry,,,here are some better pics.
It is tiger stripe maple with Ebony inlayed frets and trim. I am currently building one that is natural maple with Ebony trim and frets.

You have really taken the Lead Position for Wooden Ships in General.
The Nut and Roller Systems are the best technical design.
The brass adds that tone I prefer.
Now with the Alumitone, your slice of the market place pie is clearly established.

Johnie, no, I don't have a milling machine,,in fact I have just a bare minimum of equipment. When I built my first one,,,in fact the first 5, I had little more than a 3/8 drill, a small grinder, hand saw, files etc. I took them to Dallas show and sold 4 of them, one to the late Rick Alexander which I felt was an honor that such a prominent non-pedal player would want one of my guitars. I've accumulated a few more pieces of equipment, but not much. My stuff is very labor intensive,,,(my wife figures I'm making about $1.35 an hour,,LOL),,,but hey,,it satisfies my incurable obsession to build something. If I could transfer that obsession to "playing" instead of building,,,who knows,,,I might be a good player,,,LOL. |

| I think the scale of the red one is 23 1/2". Paul FRanklin has it now, supposed to use it on a teaching video,,,,maybe also use it on a George Strait session mid July. The natural finish one is 24" scale. I can do any scale length and string spacing. Overall length 26-27 inches. |
