Video features some of my Old Cars of yesteryear. The Citroen 2CV I bought after a glass of wine one night, I asked a friend what I should do with it and he said "you need to cut out the rust" so I sawed it in two to make a pickup.

They look very nicely made and sound good. For my take they were inspired by the same period Fenders, have a similar look.
I have noticed that the sales price of these is quite reasonable, something for an classic steel player or beginner to consider. |

I think they were indeed styled on the Fenders of the day, they are well made with good hardware and Pickups, you don't have to mess around or upgrade anything, they also made various designs of single necks changing with the years, and as you say, they are not expensive.
Another Japanese make to look out for is Tiesco, they made all kinds of Guitars including Steels, I have one of those too, a Tiesco R1.

Did a nice job on the tune as well as the cars. Love the Caddy and never saw that year Hudson before. Thanks for sharing all that. _________________ Inlaid Star Guitar 2006 by Mark Giles. SD-10 4+5 in E9th; http://luthiersupply.com/instrument-gallery.html

I agree Joe, the Citroen is an acquired taste, but still a lot of fun. Mine was the Deluxe version, it had both a Speedo AND a Fuel Gauge, you can see from the picture it still had some French Instructions.
Thank you Doug for coming along and joining in the fun.
James.
