Carvin BX500 amp with optional rack adapter mount. (rack case show has been sold). Amp had a new 12AX7 tube installed about 3 months ago. The BX500 has a 12AX7 tube in the preamp (switchable in or out). Selling just to slim down on equipment. I don’t need it all at age 80.

This is a great steel amp. It was my main amp for a couple years. It still goes to every show as a backup. I have a computer case with a bunch of pockets that I use to carry my gear. This amp fits in perfectly and is about 9 x 13 inches and weighs less than 6 LB.
Considering the rack cabinet, D2F cover, and shipping, this is a great deal. |

| George is 100% correct. The package price, including shipping, is what the MB500 alone should be and thus the extras are "free". I've considered keeping it for backup but I can use my wife's MB200 if needed. So as noted, at age 80 I gotta start slimming down with equipment. |
