Damir could you describe the condition of the front apron where the rope trim contacts the metal on the left of the second photo? It's hard to see but looks almost like a separation.

I can’t describe it any better then picture shows, Sho Bud tolerances we’re not very tight, it was a mass produced guitar, and often on Sho Bud guitars I see some parts where they don’t fit tight... guitar looks great and plays awesome, conversion was done from rack and barrel to two hole puller system, and the way it looks it was not a cheap conversion either...

Yes like Damir said; the tolerances are not even close to being the same between even same month built Sho~bud's ..ha...I really don't think anyone had a measuring tape on them while making parts and putting together..ha...>but really; that is very common for some none fitting; gap here, weird measure there...etc....but even that little separation does NOT affect the steel and play ability or stability in any way....
Also; I see some John Coop parts(brackets under there) so either John Coop or Me or James Morehead did this conversion to crossbars and nylon tuning system; but what looks like adding a raise hole to the fingers what raise more thank once....(leads me to thinking It might of been me).
Damir where did this Professional come from??(if previous owner that had this restoration done, doesn't want his name printed(email me)is ok....Just wondering who did the work?? it is an incredible job and conversion and holds its originality in almost every way; I bet it plays and sounds incredible.

Damir,
Does it still have the original changers with the pin to hold the string?
Thanks

Eric; I can tell you that answer before Damir gets to his storage....ha....
YES; these are original single/single changer fingers with pins to hook string on; except the fingers that raise twice; they have two raise holes; but they are still the original aluminum top fingers with pins...because they are the only fingers that have the slots that move in and out of those brackets that hold the adjustable lower springs.
I know this; because I found out; this is one that I did the conversion/restoration on years ago(hard to remember as it was before my brain injury accident in 2015) but I found the files..yeehaa....oh and Damir is asking Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too little for this....>this is a dream sho~bud come true.

thank you my friend, yes this is a quality conversion, I knew that as soon as I got it... guitar is worth more then what I’m asking , but I got it in trade , and I came out ok in the deal, so I can afford to sell this one for less then what it’s worth... I would think by the way it looks, this had to be around $1,500.00 conversion job...

Oh my gosh keep that Barrel Tuning Pro 2, out of all the other ones. that's the best guitar ever made for sound and playability. That's exactly what my Lloyd Green model is except one neck.

Thanks Bro's.... and I have restored countless Barrel Tuning Pro II"s...and converted professionals to crossbars with two hole pullers and Dicky's barrel tuning LDG and course mine and 4 others; through the years...and they all sound "Out of this World The Same"....

OH and also Damir; that little bit of Green Tint on your PRO II underneath texture; puts it within the first year of the LDG; as that is what they did to all pro models when the Emerald Green LDG came out; so that dates your PRO II somewhere between May 1973 and May 1974...yeeehaaa. what is the serial number??
